Meet the author

Lisa Medved

Lisa Medved is the author of The Engraver, a novel with a dual timeline set in modern-day and seventeenth-century Antwerp. Seven years in the making, The Engraver is a story about family secrets and father-daughter relationships, the consequences of betrayal and prejudice, and the difficulties of learning to trust and forgive. She is currently working on her second novel, which begins in London 1932, about a young woman searching for her place to belong in the world. Before writing fiction, Lisa wrote for magazines and corporate publications.

A Journey begins…

This world is but a canvas to our imagination.’
Henry David Thoreau
